Our Story
Transitioning from an academician to the corporate world and I have now embarked on a new journey by entering the handicrafts business, driven by my passion, love and keen eye for the traditional arts. I believe in the below quotes and followed my passion.
Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.” – Rumi
Indicrafts, a brand officially launched in 2024 with a mission to bring those exotic handcrafted creations outside India and to share my love for my country which has rich cultural heritage through its marvellous and diverse arts, and crafts that’s unique.
Our Logo
Our logo shows a beautifully carved leaf pattern into a wooden block.
The leaf has a profound meaning to me. This leaf captures the essence of nature’s intricate pattern and  is inspired with  Mehandi/henna design. The leaf symbolizes growth and rebirth and represents the passing of time, as leaves change with the seasons. This teaches that ‘change is inevitable’.
Our Craft
We specialize in a wide range of handicrafts, from intricate block-printed home furnishings and hand-crafted embellished juttis to beautifully carved brass decor products.

Block Printing - A Timeless Art
Bring the colours and textures of India into your home with our exclusive Block-print range.
Block printing is an ancient form of printing on the cloth using carved wooden blocks. In India, block printing has a long a rich history.
The earliest known evidence of block printing in India dates back to the 11th century AD. This art evolved during Mughal era in terms of designs and  abstract & geometric designs were replaced largely by floral motifs like plants, tree of life, kairi (paisley), vines, fruits, vegetables etc.
Block Printing Process
Block-printing is a meticulous process that involves carving intricate designs into wooden block, which are then hand-pressed onto fabric. This labour-intensive method results in beautiful, one-of-a kind textiles that stand out for their authenticity and charm. It has a rich history spanning cultures and continents, showcasing intricate patterns and motifs.
Wood - carving – begins with carving of wooden blocks with intricate designs and each block is used to print a different part of the design.
Colour - Dipping – Once the block are cut, they are dipped in dye and then pressed on the fabric
Care Instructions
  • Hand wash: To preserve the vibrant colours, hand washing  or gentle machine washing in cold water is recommended. Avoid using hot water as it can cause colours to fade.
  • Avoid Bleach: Treat block print fabrics delicately and avoid exposing them to avoid chemicals and bleach.
  • Clean Gently: Use a soft, dry brush or cloth to remove any dirt or dust.
  • Store with care – When storing block print products, ensure they are clean and completely dry to prevent mildew..
